Introduction of the University

of Islamic Schools of Thought

 

 

Foreword

The Islamic revolution belongs to all the Muslims.

This revolution has based its call on unity, brother ship, fraternity, developmental science and culture, ethics and spiritual growth and scientific working between Muslims. And these principles do not change in the policy of the Islamic revolution.

His Excellency imam Khomeyni the grate leader of the Islamic revolution and establisher of Islamic republic in Iran in the past, and also the leader of the Islamic revolution in present his Excellency ayatollah Khameneyi and other officials always accentuate on these principles.

The world forum for proximity of Islamic schools of thought is also with this holy motivation that is presented by the leader of the Islamic revolution. The forum is making this motivation the signboard of its aims, co-works, and proximity in science, jurisprudence, development and growth in individual legal reasoning (Ejtehaad) between Islamic religions.

Endeavor in developing Islamic science and culture is every Muslims commission that we have to guard it.

There by after the establishment of the world forum for proximity of Islamic schools of thought, his Excellency the leader of the Islamic revolution advised us in establishing the “University of Islamic schools of thought” under the supervision of the forum.

After that the official journal of the university was edited in 1371 H. Sh. and was authorized at the high council of the Cultural Revolution.

This university is continuing the work of Islamic seminaries (Hawza), were not only for a special group, that in fact every one, even those who after that had their own seminaries use to come and gain from the Ahlul-Bait.

Or the sheikh Tousie’s seminary in Karkh in Baghdad, always various numbers of sonni ulama use to come together and even Shi’ah ulama, like Helli, the first martyr, the second martyr, besides educating in Shi’ah seminaries, use to go to sonni seminaries in Baghdad, Egypt, Mecca, Madinah Al-Khalil, Damascus, and Qods.

The permission of alternation and exchanging between Islamic religions that are in the permissions of “Bahar Al-Anwar”, the permissions of Ayatollah Mar’ashi and also in many other books that are common between the Shi’ah and the Sonni Islamic seminaries like Jame Al-Moghadamaat, Ehya Al-Oloum, Tazkarat Al-Saame, the versify of Sabzewari, the explanations of Ghoushchi on Khaje Nasir Al-Din Tousie on his religious tenets and ….

All show that the Islamic seminaries all around the world are related together.
